This cake surprisingly tastes just like a donut? lol
The caramel icing is like maple bar icing, but it is caramel instead.
The cake is super moist and fluffy with a light vanilla flavor so it goes perfect with the dense cheesecake layer in the middle and the caramel icing.
I have also used pecans in this recipe also, that was really good too! I just pushed them into the layers of cake after it was done baking and cooling it also make the cake even sweeter because the caramel seeped into the pecan wholes almost like a poke cake!
